‘The office bitch’ loses her case at tribunal hearing

Rosie HendersonA KITCHEN designer accused of bullying her colleagues and calling one a ‘poison dwarf’ has lost her claim for unfair dismissal and sexual discrimination.

Rosie Henderson (pictured) was employed by Channel Island Ceramics between February 2007 until May this year, when she was sacked.

Mrs Henderson, who is the wife of a CI Ceramics director, claimed that she was unfairly dismissed on the grounds she had received no written warnings before being sacked.

But the tribunal disagreed and tribunal chairman Peter Woodward said Commerce and Employment guidelines stated that an employer could dismiss someone on the grounds of gross misconduct without such written warnings.

    Bloney good job, she deserves all she got.

    I have in my time of working started in a job and worked my way through to management and understand how people feel and work at all levels, and treated everyone as important to their relevant position.

    If you show your workers your appreciation and thanks from time to time you will always get the best from them, simply because it will be a happy environment.

    After all a happy place with good remuneration no one wants to leave but plenty want to join.
