Clubs agree to run leagues

THE senior leagues will almost certainly be run by a League Management Committee next season after positive discussions with the GFA.
After the clubs recently met to discuss the FA recommendations, club representative Brian Horsepool met GFA chairman Mark Le Tissier and development director Chris Schofield (pictured) to put forward their views.
Horsepool said that barring a few minor details, they have accepted the FA’s proposals.
‘We are all agreed that is the way the leagues will be run, including running player registrations, transfers, pitches, etc,’ he said.
