Gaudion has five aces in his pack

HOLES in one come along regularly, but the vast majority of golfers retire never having experienced the feeling of an ace and the consequential damage to the pocket.
But Nick Gaudion this week chalked up his fifth hole in one and has now done so on the island’s three courses.
The 14 handicapper (pictured) was playing a friendly with Darren Hutchinson at L’Ancresse when he holed his tee shot at the last.
‘I hit a well-struck eight iron. It bounced just before the green with the pin front left and we saw it drop in.’
