A TEN-YEAR-OLD monkey will have to serve a six-month quarantine in Guernsey before being allowed into his new UK home.
Lodi the male weeper capuchin monkey arrived in mid-November from a reserve in the Netherlands and is currently in the care of the GSPCA.
He is making the trip to join a lone female of the species at a monkey sanctuary in Cornwall.
But before being allowed into his new home, regulations dictate that Lodi must spend half a year in quarantine before being allowed to enter the UK.

Judging by his face I think Lodi has been talking to P B Falla.
He looks very unhappy at not being able to join the exodus! ;-)

Thank you Paul- and may you and yours continue as you have started Enjoy a very Happy Christmas.
