Rihoy plans to be back in weeks

BELS and Guernsey have been given a boost with the news that Dave Rihoy is on course to return from injury in February.
The island star snapped his medial knee ligaments in August’s Wheway Cup defeat against St Martin’s, with varying lay-off periods predicted, including a season-long spell on the sidelines and a likely operation.
But Rihoy (pictured) , who played a massive part in Guernsey’s FA National League Systems Cup and Muratti Vase-winning 2009-10 campaign, is looking forward now to a quicker than expected return.
‘It is just a matter of rehab now and getting the strength back so it is fingers crossed,’ he said.
