Santas brave the snow to run

SOME 200 Father Christmases ran from L’Ancresse to Town yesterday to raise money for needy youngsters.
The Aid Reaching Children annual Santa Fun Run was taking place for the seventh time.
Charity founder Linda Garnham said she was delighted with the turnout, given the sleet and snow.
‘I was reluctant to go ahead with it at first, but having a turnout of more than 200 from the 268 that registered was brilliant,’ she said.
