‘I had luck on my side’

HE MAY have been bowling for 50 years, but Nick French has now achieved the highlight of his career with a perfect score of 300.
Despite the feat, which is achieved with 12 strikes in a row, French (pictured) is modest about the performance, believing that fortune played a major role in the milestone.
‘Having bowled for so many years I am in shock really,’ said the man who started bowling when just 11 years old.
‘It is one of those goals in the sport that goes on for years and years.’
