THE Stranger Cup may be one of the most unpredictable competitions of recent times, but it is a pretty safe bet that tonight’s game could be a cracker.

League leaders and favourites St Martin’s travel to Northfield to face Ross Cameron’s resurgent North side, who are effectively back at full strength after an indifferent start to the season.

And the winners of this much-delayed quarter-final will be quietly confident of going on to lift the trophy, with the remainder of the league’s top five having already exited.

That follows last year’s tournament which saw the league’s bottom four sides as the semi-finalists, with Athletics eventually winning the final.
