Keepers to benefit from Tardif’s input

CHRIS TARDIF has become Guernsey’s first goalkeeping coach as island coach Tony Vance continues to look to the future.
The 31-year-old St Martin’s shot stopper (pictured) has recently returned to the island after playing for Basingstoke, the end of a career which also included spells at Oxford, Portsmouth and AFC Bournemouth.
He is almost certainly going to be the island’s number one come the Muratti in May and the likely formation of Guernsey FC for next season.
But he is now spreading his wings, agreeing to coach goalkeepers of all ages, including his rival Division One keepers.
