A present for travellers: flying is back to normal

FOLLOWING weeks of weather disruption at Guernsey Airport, things were back on track yesterday.
Most flights on Boxing Day left or arrived on time and UK airports were mostly back to normal after the problems caused by snow and ice.
Airport director Colin Le Ray had said that the airport would open on Christmas Day if the airlines requested it but that proved not to be necessary.
The Aurigny lunchtime flight from Gatwick arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule yesterday.
