Industry concerns as top GFSC staff depart

FINANCE industry representatives are worried about top-level departures at the regulator.
The Guernsey Financial Services Commission had three of its four divisional directors leave within six weeks of each other.
The Guernsey International Business Association said the losses could cause a lack of continuity.
‘The departure of so many experienced directors at the GFSC all at once is a great loss to the island and the resulting lack of continuity is, inevitably, of concern to the industry,’ Giba chairman Paul Meader (pictured) said.
