Four recognised in New Year’s Honours

Four Bailiwick residents have been recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list.

Paul Le Boutillier has been awarded the MBE for voluntary services to the elderly and to the care of sufferers from Alzheimer’s.

Also acknowledged with MBEs are Sandra James, for services to nursing and health care in Guernsey and the UK and Frederick Shaw, for voluntary services to Youth and the wider community in Alderney.

A special award was also given to the Lt-Governor’s secretary, Colonel Richard Graham MBE, who was awarded the LVO – Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order – for services to the Queen.
