A HALF-TIME rocket from Jordan Reynolds did the trick as Guernsey claimed the bonus point victory they were after on Saturday.

In this top versus bottom clash, Weybridge Vandals battled hard throughout and the 7-3 half-time score was a reflection on their efforts during that opening period, but once the hosts got into gear there was to be no stopping them.

However, Guernsey player-coach Reynolds admitted that it took the ‘hairdryer treatment’ to kick his side into action.

‘I’ve never been so angry – I even scared myself,’ he said chuckling.
