The opening race of this competition for dinghies, which is being sponsored by Mercator Trust, starts at 10am and is the first of six fortnightly races throughout January, February and March.
Racing against each other in wintry conditions for the coveted trophy is some of Guernsey’s most promising dinghy sailing talent.
Competitors will be sailing a wide variety of dinghy designs, from Hobie Tiger Catamaran and RS400s, to slower boats such as lasers or a GP14.
