MORE of the same would be appropriate for Vale Rec as they prepare for the latest chapter of their Somerset Cup adventure.

Carl Le Tissier’s side entertain Taunton Blackbrook at the Corbet Field tomorrow in the second round, the same stage they exited at in their debut attempt last season.

It follows November’s impressive victory over Cutters Friday, who are only a point behind Taunton in the Somerset League.

The way Rec disposed of Cutters will give them confidence for this last-32 clash, with a potential match-up with holders Westland Sports awaiting, again at home.
