Galacticos extend their lead over the champions

DEFENDING champions La Villette Hotel Gremlins will be looking for a decent win in their third meeting with Gremlin Galacticos to stop the current leaders running away with their Image Group Premier Division title.

The gap is now 10 points after the Galacticos dropped just one frame against North Social L-Plates, while La Villette laboured to an 8-4 win.

Adam Shorto led from the start to win his 37th consecutive Premier match – one short of Martyn Desperques’ record who he plays next.

Milford De Carteret threatened to take a frame off the Galacticos skipper, but fell eight points adrift, leaving the honour to Kevin De Carteret to get the L-Plates’ only frame of the night by the same margin.
