Seminar to focus on 2011 Finance Bill

EQUITIES should perform well again this year but investors should be watchful of the risks associated with what is still a fragile global economy, according to Spearpoint chief investment officer Kevin Boscher.
His outlook on the year ahead was delivered at Spearpoint’s annual investment seminar at the OGH.
Mr Boscher told the audience there were a number of factors contributing to his view including the continuation of a general economic recovery, policy stimulus and low interest rates.
He said companies were also in a stronger position generally, which would lend itself to increased mergers and acquisitions and dividends.
