Bridgman masters the wind in opening race

With crews of five high-performance boats – two Hobie Tigers, an RS 300, an RS 400 and an RS 500 – deciding against setting sail in the severe wind conditions, the race fleet consisted of five Lasers.
Taking to the helm were Andy Bridgman, Nick Parkes, Keith Le Page, Johanna Asplund and her father, Henrik Asplund.
Each lap comprised one upwind leg, heading towards the harbour, and one downwind leg to Vivian race buoy, just off the Longue Hougue.
