Hill hits victory heights

Having been originally postponed due to poor conditions, the event was blessed with some very contestable conditions providing overhead waves, offshore winds and sun.
The neap tides were ideal and ensured that all the early rounds and finals could be finished on the two scheduled days.
Round one of the open, which was made a mobile event to optimise the best conditions possible while the juniors simultaneously competed at Vazon, began on the Dom Hue reef next to Perelle.
