Dodd tops the bill

THE Ogier Senior Island Squash Championships kicks off this evening at 6.20 at Beau Sejour with 40 top players vying for either the men’s A and B or women’s titles.
Thirty-two men, divided into two draws, and eight ladies will play for the prestigious titles with their results affecting both Inter-Insular and Island Games team selections.
In the women’s draw, recent Commonwealth Games player Natalie Dodd (pictured) is the hot favourite having produced some convincing victories in the Steele Property Team League.
If the seedings are correct, Gemma Coquelin and Katherine Jensen should provide some tough competition – they were also both strong contestants for Island Games selection.
