INDEPENDENTS continue to maintain the pressure on Colombians in the race for the men’s Division One hockey title.

Indies bounced back from the previous weekend’s defeat at the hands of Colombians to beat in-form Clubhouse Casuals 4-0 and maintain their challenge for the championship.

Ed Prow scored the first two goals, both coming in the first half.

For his first, he applied a neat touch to turn in a Josh Kendal cross and for the second, Prow cut in from the right, drove into the Casuals area and fired a crisp shot across goal and into the far corner.
