Time for youngsters to step up

NEW island manager Peter Vidamour has challenged Guernsey’s up and coming cricketers to begin fulfilling their potential.
The first senior squad of 2011 has been selected and the 20-man group includes several youngsters who have undoubted ability, but the management team, which also includes national coach Andy Cornford, are eager for them to step up to the plate.
‘We need to start bringing younger guys in,’ Vidamour (pictured) said.
‘But there are players who have been promising for a while now and they need to start performing.
