Bels coach ‘fighting to keep club together’

BELS coach Ian Champion spoke of his frustration after he saw his side lose 5-1 to North on Friday night.

The result saw the battle for the Wheway Cup spots hot up, with four sides now having dropped similar points so far this season.

‘This is the most frustrating thing that I have ever been through,’ Champion said afterwards.

‘We have got a bunch of youngsters playing who have battled their hearts out and I am proud of the way they played tonight.
