Sacked woman refuses to pay costs as court upholds tribunal’s ruling

Susan Cotterill (pictured) was speaking after Deputy Bailiff Richard Collas rejected her appeal against an Employment and Discrimination Tribunal ruling that Blanchelande Park Nursing Home Ltd had not dismissed her unfairly.

Mr Collas said appeals could be made only on a point of law or procedural irregularity and Miss Cotterill had not made a case to that effect.

‘The court’s hands are tied when it comes to appeals against Employment Tribunals and that’s the way the legislation is set out,’ he said.

    How much of tax payers money was wasted on this? You got sacked luv, find another job, pay your debt and stop wasting our money.
    Maybe prison would be a good idea until the debt is paid, at least if tax payers are loosing money she would be loosing something aswel.
