Watson sets date for first pro bout
Thursday 27th January 2011, 2:30PM GMT.
BRADLEY WATSON will be up against a Naseem Hamed wannabe as he makes his first step onto the professional ladder in March.
The 20-year-old Sarnian (pictured) is scheduled to face Sheffield’s Anwar Alfadli at Southampton’s Club Oceania on Saturday 26 March, the first of what he hopes will be a series of fights in 2011.
‘He tries to box like Hamed, who is from Sheffield, but he is a pretty poor imitation,’ Watson said.
‘He turned pro a couple of years ago and has fought 10 times but only won twice.’
