AN electrical fault in a nearby car is suspected to have caused a domestic oil tank to go up in flames on Saturday morning.
Several properties were damaged as a result of the fire at a property near the Vale School.
The Fire & Rescue Service was called to a house in Rue de L’Ecole at 9.40am.
Watch commander Matt Roger said the oil tank and surrounding area was well alight when they arrived.
