Monday 31st January 2011, 1:00PM GMT.
THE Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service is locked in a dispute with the Public Sector Remuneration Committee over pay.
The parties have not been able to reach agreement on wages for the period covering 1 July last year to 30 June.
Following a request for help on 17 November from Unite, the union which represents firefighters, meetings have taken place between representatives from the union and the PSRC.
The industrial disputes officer has determined that a dispute exists between the two sides.
* Unite regional officer Ron Le Cras could not be contacted.
