‘Never a better time for training to be done here’

VITAL training is being given by the GTA University Centre and it should continue, despite uncertainty over its future funding, according to new chief executive Fiona Naftel (pictured).
She took over from Professor Richard Conder last week.
‘The GTA is investing in the community,’ she said.
‘[For what we do] it is not a huge expense. Last year, 8,000 students came through our doors. It is value for money and cost-effective.’
