GUERNSEY are looking to do everything they can to avenge last year’s netball inter-insular beatings and they start by embarking on a UK tour this weekend.
With the clashes against rivals Jersey looming less than six weeks away, the Sarnian players and coaching staff have raised the money needed to travel, with the A, B and under-19 sides all playing two games apiece.
Former island players Dawn Browning and Tanya Gibson are the new Guernsey coaches, with Browning hoping that last year’s results against the Caesareans will be improved on.
‘The girls have all worked so hard at training and are committed to giving Jersey a run for their money this year,’ she said.
