Bodman ready for biggest test yet

FOR someone who has serious Olympic aspirations, rower Erica Bodman will get a first-hand experience of the standard required this weekend.

The Sarnian, who has just turned 23 and has thus entered the senior ranks, will be rowing at Dorney Lake in the Great Britain February trials.

Present on the Olympic course will be nearly every single British Olympic and world rowing medallist, in what is the final GB rowing team winter assessment.

Despite enjoying an outside chance to be in the GB team for next year’s 2012 London Olympics, Bodman believes she is exactly that, believing her best hope lies four years on and Brazil.
