Loss hits title hopes

GUERNSEY’S title ambitions were dented on Saturday as they suffered defeat at Guildford and slipped to second in London Two South-West.
The home side secured a 25-13 victory and with it a four-try bonus point to move above Guernsey into top spot in the table by a single point.
‘We’re obviously pretty disappointed. They outplayed us and deserved to win,’ said Guernsey prop Cameron Craine.
‘We just did not take the game to them as we should have.’
