Man, 74, ran in front of car which killed him as he tried to cross

Floral tributes left near the spot where Edward Lee died after being struck by a car in August last year.
A VERDICT of accidental death was recorded at an inquest into the death of a man who was struck by a car at North Side, Vale, last summer.
Edward Lee, 74, died between 2.55pm and 3.57pm on Friday 13 August.
Judge Cherry McMillen said it was not her job to determine responsibility, but to rule on the cause of death.
She found that the cause of death had been a severe head injury and delivered a verdict of accidental death.
