IT WAS always going to happen.
Someone was eventually going to take a helluva beating as the St Martin’s machine hit full force again.
Because despite winning 11 on the spin before this, their form had unquestionably dropped in recent weeks.
But on this fine Saturday afternoon, it was Sylvans unfortunate enough to be chasing shadows during an opening 45 minutes that saw the score at four, with two goals disallowed and a strong penalty shout turned down on top of that.
