THE talented young Boatworks+ team were the latest victims of the Appleby 8s juggernaut at the Indoor Cricket Guernsey Centre.

The 8s winning run is now an incredible 13 games.

Many thought that Boatworks+ were the side to end Appleby 8’s dominance, such was the level of their performance in the first two weeks of the new season.

Unfortunately for the emerging stars, they were taught a lesson by their more experienced opponents. Batting first, Boatworks+ were steady, if unspectacular, with their scoring and reached a respectable total of 75.
