‘Poisoned’ woman shops husband over child porn

Royal Court buildingTHE estranged wife of a man accused of making indecent images of children claimed yesterday that he had tried to poison her.

She said her husband had put ‘seeds’ in her food that had made her very unwell and she ended up reporting it to police. That complaint led to the discovery of indecent material on their computer.

When his trial opened yesterday in the Royal Court, her 51-year-old husband denied making 147 still child porn images and seven videos.

Crown Advocate Gary Perry said it was not disputed that the images were on the computer, but the defendant denied putting them there and claimed that his estranged wife had set him up. The defendant would argue that his wife had adjusted time settings on the computer to frame him.
