YOUNG business studies students will help to turn a former pub into a youth centre.
Around 12 College of Further Education students yesterday explored the former Les Caves de Bordeaux building in Upper Mansell Street, St Peter Port.
The group have been invited by the charity Youth Guernsey, which owns the property, to help design and create a centre that appeals to the younger generation.
Now a dusty shadow of its former self, complete with holes in the floorboards and an overgrown garden, Les Caves is in need of top to bottom refurbishment. But as the group moved around the future youth centre, ideas immediately began to flow.
