AFTER his first match in over a year, North’s former Muratti man Gavin Le Page knows he still has a long way to go before he feels well and truly back.

The midfielder completed an hour against Bavaria Nomads in Division Two on Saturday having spent 14 months on the sidelines due to a third serious knee injury.

His last competitive game was in January 2009, and even then he was not playing regularly because of previous injury problems.

Now on comeback number three, he is just happy to be back on the pitch and isn’t looking too far ahead.
