Wednesday 16th February 2011, 2:29PM GMT.

THE defence will open today in the case of a 51-year-old man who denies making indecent images of children on a computer.

All of yesterday’s proceedings in the Royal Court, the second day of the trial, were taken up with evidence from expert prosecution witness Andrew Rudenko.

Mr Rudenko works in the computer forensics department at QCC Information Security Ltd. He told the court he had spent five years working as a computer expert with Kent Police and had undergone training at the National Law Enforcement Agency.

The defendant denies seven counts of making indecent images of children that amount to a combined total of 147 stills and seven videos.
