AN ILLEGAL builder’s yard has been granted a three-month reprieve.
A deal was agreed between owners John and Carolyn Wild and the Environment Department during a planning appeal tribunal.
The extension to the compliance notice, against which the Wilds were appealing at the tribunal, will allow the couple to clear the site at La Canurie Vinery and move to their new Les Amarreurs property, which is going through the planning process.
Planning officer Steve Hartman said the department was still considering that application, but permission was likely to be granted.
