ISLANDERS will have a major distraction to the local sporting fare on offer next summer – it is called the Olympic Games.
The Games come to the UK for the first time in 64 years in London next July and it is clear islanders will be swarming to the capital to watch the action.
But are the tickets fairly priced?
Yes, said the Guernsey Island Amateur Athletic Club president Alun Williams, but the inability to make group bookings is a let-down he said.
