THE fourth and final Velo Club Winter Sportive takes place tomorrow and club president Gary Wallbridge is urging people not to miss out.

Rather than simple racing, the event is designed to challenge riders to complete one of a number of courses within a set time.

There are three categories – gold, silver and bronze – to enable all riders from elite to novice to take part. All money raised will go towards the Velo Club to help the cycling team prepare for the Island Games.

Wallbridge is delighted with the response to the three previous sportives and hopes for an even bigger number for the final one.
