Black’s second-coming at Rec proves worth the wait

The immediate reaction from Vale Rec coach Carl Le Tissier upon the conclusion of another Rec win told its own story really.
He will have been on tenterhooks for the 90-plus minutes until son Glenn finally sealed a two-goal victory deep in injury time after the yellows had squandered gilt-edged chances, while seeing their visitors from Bridgwater do the same.
In that time, Ryan-Zico Black shone with a stunning performance in the first 45 minutes on his long-awaited Rec debut, while centre-back and captain Ross Elliott led by example with a man-of-the-match display.
