SCHOOLCHILDREN would be put in danger if plans for a new St Martin’s bring bank site go ahead, according to local residents.

The recycling bins at Manor Stores had to move temporarily last year to St Martin’s Garage, but the landowner, Sandpiper CI, and Public Services Department have been working to return them.

But the submitted plans propose to place the site behind the Manor Stores car park, with the only car access from Le Hurel.

People living there are furious about the proposals.
