WITH a meeting to go, Ozzy Ozanne has again won the winter autocross championship on Chouet Beach.

He finished second in the race of firsts to team-mate Callum Queripel, but the former turned the tables in the final race of the day.

After Linda Jones (car 137) had secured the women’s title last meeting, Ozzy Ozanne successfully defended his crown by wrapping up the main points championship, his lead over team-mate and birthday boy Queripel now standing at an unbeatable 12 points.

Although Queripel narrowed the gap by a single point at the penultimate meeting, only 10 points are on offer for the last event.
