Cortez’s North revolution is way ahead of schedule

LITTLE over a year ago, North were a club gripped by crisis.
Three key players had left in a tumultuous period for the chocolate-and-blues, with reports of discontent among the squad and all sorts of backroom and committee rumblings.
But now under new leadership, significantly president Garry Cortez in his second spell at the club, Northfield is a happier place to be once again.
At the beginning of a period that could see Wheway Cup qualification and silverware in the shape of the Jeremie and FA Cups, Cortez (pictured) is delighted with the progress that has already been made.
