Monthly lottery to help hospice
Monday 28th February 2011, 2:29PM GMT.

The new Les Bourgs Hospice is due to open in October, 2011.
A MONTHLY lottery to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice is being launched today.
Club 1000 has been organised by the Friends of Les Bourgs and will have a top prize of £1,000.
Islanders can buy unique numbers which are valid for a year and cost £5 each or £60 for a year of entries. The tickets can only be bought using a banker’s order.
Islanders can purchase as many as they like, but must commit for 12 months and each number will need a separate banker’s order form.
A second place prize of £500 and five third prizes of £100 will also be awarded each month.

It’s crazy that Les Bourgs Hospice have to start their own lottery to raise money and just goes to show you how pathetic the local stats one is.
Why can’t Guernsey join the national lottery in the UK and benefit from there donations.
