Passenger is cut from crash van

Firefighters had to cut a passenger from this van after it hit a wall in the Castel. 1100309
A PASSENGER had to be cut free from a van after it struck a wall in the Castel.
The 29-year-old man did not need medical treatment after the crash at the junction of Rue de la Masse and Ruette de la Generotte near Castel School.
The 20-year-old driver walked away from the vehicle.
Two water tenders, an ambulance and incident officer and two police cars attended after receiving the call at 3.50pm.

You obviously have no idea how emergency response works. The 999 call would have said something like ‘A van has hit a wall and a person is trapped inside’. 2 units from each of the services would not be an unreasonable response. Not only that, when a life is possibly at risk over reaction is far better than under reaction. If you had been trapped would you like to hear ‘Sorry, didn’t know it was like this, we need to wait for more people’. …… Didn’t think so!
