Saunders gets off on the wrong foot in two-dayer

A RELATIVELY simple course and good conditions seemed to be the trend for the weekend’s big two-day trials.
The event saw 10-times British champion Steve Saunders in attendance, as well as a large group of French riders and a handful from Jersey for the two-day competition.
Early on in day one it may have been, but 19-year-old Caesarean Adam Le Cheminant had a claim to fame, in that he was leading the scores from Saunders after the initial exchanges.
And as Le Cheminant explained, it was something totally unexpected for him.
