MATCHES do not come much bigger than tomorrow’s rugby clash at Foote’s Lane.

Guildford are the visitors as the top two in London Two South-West collide with the race for promotion reaching a thrilling climax over the final three rounds of fixtures.

While the Siam Cup will always hold a special place locally, there can be no doubt that league rugby is where the real importance lies for Guernsey nowadays and coach Jordan Reynolds succinctly summed up this weekend’s fixture as one in which, ‘we have got to get a win’.

‘These games are some of the biggest in Guernsey Rugby Club history,’ said Reynolds of the league run-in.
