Alderney ‘fitter, stronger’ claims

ALDERNEY’S Muratti side will be fitter and stronger than any other Ridunian side of the modern era, according to the team’s coach.

But Alan Adamson is not getting too carried away, as so are Guernsey, he believes.

‘Hopefully, if we can get into them and let them know they are in a game it will be to our advantage,’ he said a week and a bit away from the semi-final in Alderney.

Adamson has taken over the side after the departure of Kevin Gentle and will probably name his first squad this week, possibly as early as today.
